UTILX Announces $6 Million Contract with Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative, Inc

UTILX Corporation (Nasdaq:UTLX) announced today that it had begun a new relationship with the signing of a one year contract with Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative, Inc. to provide power cable installation and CableCURE(R) services in a Test, Treat or Replace program.
It is anticipated that the contract will generate $6 million of revenues during the first year, with contract extensions expected. Located in Dade City, Florida, Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative is one of the largest rural utility services in the nation, serving 155,000 customers in the West Central Florida area.
UTILX Corporation provides critical services for the installation and rejuvenation of aged underground infrastructure with proprietary CableCURE solution in the U.S. and Canada through a network of regional sales and service centers. The Company also provides CableCURE(R) services throughout Europe and Asia.
