Eprise Participant Server support for Kinecta Interact platform
enables targeted content delivery and powerful digital asset
management
Eprise Corporation (Nasdaq: EPRS), a leading provider of advanced content management software for dynamic Web sites, and Kinecta Corporation(TM), a global technology leader in content syndication and aggregation, today announced that the two companies have integrated their respective technologies to enable Eprise Participant Server(R) support for the Kinecta Interact(TM) platform. This integration will provide organizations with greater access to and management of diverse content distributed using the Kinecta Interact syndication platform.
Integration with Kinecta Interact will allow content to be delivered to Eprise Participant Server's data stores via the ICE (Information and Content Exchange) protocol. Eprise Participant Server acts as a digital asset repository and management system, empowering companies to create, update, and manage Web content by giving business users across the organization the ability to submit, edit, approve, and post content on the fly and then have it presented to the right viewer at the right time. Kinecta Interact enables companies to manage syndication relationships and the exchange of content between a syndicator and its subscribers. Integration of the two technologies will provide business users with the ability to syndicate content, and the necessary tools to constantly update that content on their Internet, extranet, and intranet sites.
"Automating the delivery of diverse Web content is a powerful capability in building productive e-business relationships and creating new revenue streams," said David Mathison, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Kinecta. "Eprise's powerful content management technology takes that information feed and gives it even more value by making it easily re-usable so that organizations can create more targeted communications."
Eprise President and CEO Joe Forgione agrees that the major business benefits of integrating Eprise's content management capabilities with Kinecta's content syndication platform lie in relationship-reinforcement strategies. "This technology integration allows organizations to take the same powerful syndication technology used by information leaders such as Reuters, and put it to work in creating stronger relationships with partners and distributors. Further, it allows internal business managers to publish content to the Web in many different, more targeted communications, making it possible for both Kinecta and Eprise clients to streamline their business processes significantly."
