CCC GlobalCom Corporation Receives Certification Approval to Provide Competitive Local Exchange Carrier Telecommunication Services in California

CCC GlobalCom Corporation (OTC:CCGC), a Houston based telecommunications company, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Ciera Network Systems ("Ciera"), has received certification as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) and Inter-Exchange Carrier in the State of California enabling it to begin offering local telephone services. These services will include a full range of communications services to commercial and residential customers, while providing for a single point of contact through bundled billing services. The corporation provides local, long distance, high-speed data, Internet, paging, cellular and other enhanced communications services.

According to Mr. Z.A. Hakim, chairman and CEO of CCC GlobalCom Corporation (CCC), the State of California certification is a critical requirement to providing comprehensive telecommunication services to the residents and businesses in California. CCC plans to offer CLEC Services in California through Ciera within the next few months. CCC plans to market these services through strategic agreements with agents and other communication service providers. "This marketing strategy when implemented will rapidly reach business and residential users," said Bob Livingston, president - CLEC Division for CCC.

CCC has filed for authorization to provide CLEC services in most states, and to date has received the approval to offer CLEC telecommunication services in more than 10 states, including Texas, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Florida and now California. Other state certifications are pending but are expected to be granted in the near future. While awaiting these additional state approvals, CCC has been actively marketing its services to small business and residential customers in the Southwestern Bell and Ameritech geographical areas of the country. By year-end, CCC expects to initiate CLEC services in Pacific Bell, Bell Atlantic and Bell South geographical areas.

CCC's subsidiary, Ciera, is based in Houston and is a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) providing bundled communications services for instant and secure voice, data and video transmission to its commercial and residential clients in the United States. Ciera markets its bundle of telecommunications services to homes and businesses. Ciera has built a strong presence in its current markets with quality services and competitive pricing by aggressive marketing. Ciera markets its services through agents, distributors, telesales and direct sales channels.

CCC GlobalCom Corp. is a holding company concentrating on providing telecommunications based and Internet technologies and services throughout the Western Hemisphere providing services for E-commerce, business-to-business and residential markets.
