Tickets On Sale August 4th For Blowout

Music Celebration Halloween Weekend

The VOODOO MUSIC FESTIVAL(R) will return for its second year Saturday, October 28th with a mystical line-up that will rock this world and raise the spirits. Acts confirmed include Stone Temple Pilots, Eminem, 311, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, Cypress Hill, Counting Crows, Live, Blues Traveler, Guster, Section 8, Black Eyed Peas, Galactic, and The Getaway People. Additional acts will be announced in the near future.

Set amongst the tall oaks and spooky swamps of New Orleans' City Park, VOODOO(R) will present three stages of music throughout the park, along with an activity-filled interactive village sponsored by Shooting Gallery and a vendor village for concertgoers to explore. VOODOO(R) organizers are also working with Shooting Gallery to create Shooting Gallery's Worship the Music Nighttime Concert Series -- a weekend-long series of all-night music events and parties. Festivities begin on Thursday, October 26th, providing an all-out entertainment experience for a complete New Orleans Halloween weekend celebration.

Making its debut last October 31st, VOODOO(R) brought an eclectic mix of some of today's biggest acts to New Orleans for a day-long groundbreaking ritual. New Orleans' rich and very unique heritage presented the perfect setting for this new kind of music festival -- created for the sole purpose of worshipping and celebrating music. Mixing Caribbean, European, and American traditions, the city is a world of its own. Aptly named, VOODOO(R) brought us a transforming, spiritual and powerful musical happening. However, last year was just the beginning. Envisioned as a festival that would become an annual event, this year's concert is being taken a step further, promising to be bigger in spirit and scope.

Those who cannot make the trip to New Orleans can catch all the action on www.voodoomusicfest.com, www.rollingstone.com, or www.icast.com -- all of whom will be webcasting live from each of the three stages.

The VOODOO MUSIC FESTIVAL(R) was created and produced by Rehage Entertainment, Inc. and presented by Vedalabs. Stage sponsors are Shooting Gallery, Rollingstone.com, iCAST, and Cox Communications. Additional sponsors include Gambit Weekly, Yahoo! Internet life, KKND, US Airways, Sprint PCS, NOLA.com and Max Racks. Talent for VOODOO(R) is being booked by Mad Booking in association with Rehage Entertainment, Inc.

Rehage Entertainment is a New York/New Orleans based management, marketing and production company specializing in the creation and development of entertainment properties. VOODOO(R) is a Rehage Entertainment property.

VOODOO(R) tickets will go on sale August 4th, 2000, for $24.50 and are available at www.voodoomusicfest.com, at any Ticketmaster Ticket Center or by calling 504-522-5555.
