On June 14, 2000, a complaint was filed, alleging violations of the federal securities laws by Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS) and certain of its officers and/or directors. The class action was commenced in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Fort Lauderdale Division, on behalf of purchasers of Citrix Systems securities during the period between October 18, 1999 and June 9, 2000, inclusive.
The complaint charges that defendants violated Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and Rule 10b-5 promulgated thereunder, by issuing materially false and misleading statements to the market.
