SAN DIEGO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 2000
Mondo Solutions (Mondo), a sales process technology reengineering and consulting firm, announced a partnership with FutureLink Corp. (Nasdaq: FTRL), one of the first application service providers (ASP), that designates Mondo as a channel partner. This association allows Mondo to provide its customers with application hosting services for SalesLogix and its growing family of e-business solutions via FutureLink's ASP data enters.
"As information technology grows in complexity--with a multitude of operating systems, an endless array of hardware and software and the growing dependency on a remote network-- competitive companies need a fresh solution to implementing and maintaining applications," said Mondo Solutions CEO Richard Montemarano. "We can now provide our customers a one-stop turnkey solution for their entire computing environment."
As a FutureLink channel partner, Mondo can now offer its customers a fresh alternative to implementing and managing applications through the corporate IT department. Through its data centers, FutureLink allows companies to outsource computing service and support, and manage the total cost of technology ownership. For a flat fee, FutureLink customers subscribe to the application utility service on a per-seat basis, receiving thin client or PC hardware and Internet access to business-critical software and complete support services.
"By recognizing how the ASP computing model facilitates quick software implementation and simplified application maintenance, Mondo has both created new opportunities for itself and its customers," said William R. Botti, FutureLink's senior vice president, ASP Division. "Mondo's high customer service ethics and expertise as a SalesLogix solutions integrator make the company an ideal FutureLink channel partner."
