Ransom Love, President and CEO of Caldera Systems Inc. Opens Nasdaq; Caldera Systems is Also Added to the Russell 3000

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 15, 2000

Caldera Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CALD) Thursday announced that company President and Chief Executive Officer, Ransom Love, opened the Nasdaq Stock Exchange at 9:30 a.m., EST.

Caldera Systems Inc., a leading provider of Linux eBusiness Solutions, did an initial public offering March 21, 2000. The company reported revenues of $1.4 million for the second quarter of this fiscal year, a 150 percent increase over revenues in the second quarter of 1999.

The Russell 3000 Index confines itself to the 3,000 most actively traded shares and is divided into the Russell 1000 and Russell 2000 subindexes. The Russell Indexes track close to 99 percent of the stocks included in portfolios of institutional investors.
