RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK AREA, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 23, 2000

With Linux, Macintosh and Windows Operating System Compatibility

iEntertainment Network, Inc. (Nasdaq: IENT), an online entertainment media company, today unveiled a playable demonstration of WarBirds III, award-winning online multi-player World War II air combat flight simulator game.

One of the key enhancements to WarBirds is the expansion of its operating system compatibility to include Linux in addition to its existing compatibility with Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) MacIntosh OS and Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) Windows OS.

"The growing popularity and installed penetration of Linux makes it a natural addition to WarBirds," says Jay Littman, Producer at iEntertainment Network. "WarBirds has consistently set the standard for flight simulator games, and we are excited that it is the first combat flight simulator game to offer compatibility with the Linux OS."

In addition to its expanded operating system compatibility, WarBirds III incorporates a host of new features aimed at maintaining WarBirds' standard of providing the most realistic flight and air combat experience available from any online flight simulator game. Some of the new WarBirds features include 3D hardware support using Open GL for the Macintoch, new graphics system, more detailed aircraft models, and Linux.

The WarBirds III announcement was made at the company's annual WarBirds convention in Research Triangle Park, NC. In addition to the new product demo, iEntertainment treated convention attendees to a range of exciting flight related events including a keynote session presented by World War II combatants, American pilot, Lt. Col. Charles Brown, USAF (Ret.) and German pilot, Oberleutnant Franz Steigler. These two pilots engaged each other in air combat during the war. During the legendary engagement, Brown`s B-17 was disabled by enemy fire. Rather than shoot down the disabled aircraft and its crew, Steigler escorted the plane to safety."
