Interface Customization Eliminated for SAP(R) R/3(TM)

With Cost Savings of As Much As 50%

Advanced Systems International, (OTC BB: ADSN), announced today that its web-based B2B enabling product ATLink(TM), has been enhanced with a "Configuration Tool for SAP(R) R/3(TM)" (CT/R3) that eliminates hard code interface requirements for SAP(R) R/3(TM) (NYSE: SAP) inter-enterprise applications. The CT/R3 module will provide a significant reduction in the cost and time of implementing or upgrading interfaces from either the back office or the front office to SAP(R) R/3(TM) applications.

As noted in a recent AMR Research press release The AMR Research SAP Advisor for March of 2000, "Getting to the Promised Land: The Cost of Upgrading R/3," upgrade preparation and execution will be the equivalent of 1/3 to 1/4 of a new R/3 implementation, which often costs $10 million or more. Much of the cost stems from business factors, version factors, and prior implementation compromises made in previous implementations."

Kevin Prouty, Senior Research Analyst for AMR Research stated, "While most data collection systems require significant customization, ADSN continues to keep customization of ATLink to a minimum."

Gerry Pesut, President and CEO of ADSN stated, "As the number of industries consolidating their supply networks onto B2B exchanges grows, individual companies are being forced to marry existing inter-enterprise software applications with their suppliers to remain competitive. We estimate that providing SAP(R) R/3(tm) customers with a tool set to facilitate configured migration to upgraded versions, will save as much as 50% on their cost of building customized interfaces."

ATLink Configuration Tool for SAP(R) R/3(TM)

Prior to this enhancement, when building a customized interface between two applications, it commonly took weeks before the initial test data could be exchanged between the fields. Within minutes ATLink CT/R3 can be exchanging either sample or live data from SAP(R) R/3(TM) to both the front and back office.

This significant reduction in time will mean that users will be in a position to rapidly evaluate the interface as they build it. It also means that they will be able to review the data at any stage of the configuration and act on that information immediately.

SAP(R) R/3(TM) Version Independent

Customers utilizing any version of SAP(R) R/3(TM) inter-enterprise application can use the ATLink web-based offering.
