Katiesoft Users Can Now Leverage AppCapture
To Access and Utilize Popular Windows Applications
from Within the Katiesoft Web Interface Software
Katiesoft(R) Inc., a leading provider of innovative Web interface software which supports online content delivery, today announced it has added AppCapture to its proprietary Katiesoft(R) Web-surfing software. The new enhancement enables users to integrate Microsoft Office, Media Player, Napster, Adobe Reader, Internet Explorer, and Netscape into the application's browser interface, expanding the Katiesoft toolset and making the solution more versatile and valuable than before.
Katiesoft's unique content delivery solutions were designed to enhance customer loyalty and profit for online businesses. With the Katiesoft software, licensees can deliver targeted custom content to their users in a variety of ways. Katiesoft software can expose users to new online properties, promotional offers, advertising, or any URL.
Katiesoft is based upon four-pane Web browser technology that allows users to view up to four separate Web pages simultaneously on one screen. This allows users to accelerate their Web browsing and to directly compare Web content. Additional Katiesoft features let users drag and drop URLs from one page to another, create "snapshots" to bookmark multiple pages, place search result alternatives in multiple panes, and much more.
Now, with the addition of AppCapture, any one of these panes can be used to host a Windows application such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, or Napster. End users of Katiesoft can enhance their productivity in new and exciting ways--for example by working in applications while browsing the Web, dragging and dropping online content, pasting content into email, watching an online movie, or reading Adobe PDF files--all without leaving Katiesoft.
"The ability of Katiesoft to support these applications is a key element to making Katiesoft an attractive product for our customers and their consumers," said Andrew Brown, CEO of Katiesoft. "AppCapture adds significantly more flexibility for our customers to deliver content as well as increasing their end user's productivity."
In addition to AppCapture, Katiesoft has also increased its compatibility with Microsoft's Internet Explorer with the addition of the Katiesoft Sidebar for Internet Explorer. This new Sidebar will allow users to leverage Katiesoft features while using Internet Explorer, including the ability to search four separate search engines simultaneously as well as the ability to launch Katiesoft Snapshots.
In just a few short months, Katiesoft has become one of the hottest user applications on the Internet. The free software has been downloaded over one million times, and has won glowing reviews from CNET, MSN, Amazon.com, ZDNet, and Quote.com.
