4,000 Content Choices Now Available for Free

ThrottleBox Media, Inc., developer of the ThrottleBox Player and distributor of exclusive BOX files content, announced today the addition of their 100th content partner, Reprise Records, and the resounding success and widespread acceptance of the ThrottleBox Player and exclusive content offerings. Reprise Records is the home of Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Green Day, Alanis Morrisette (through Maverick Records), Barenaked Ladies, Lou Reed, Orgy (with Elementree Records), and others, and joins other ThrottleBox partners such as Warner Bros., Atlantic, Elektra, Roadrunner, and Tommy Boy Records.

By signing their 100th content partner, ThrottleBox now is able to offer over 4,000 unique pieces of content ("BOX files") that are available for free to viewers exclusively via the ThrottleBox player. Some of the most popular downloads include material from Madonna, Metallica, Cher, Slipknot, the Three Stooges, Faith Hill, Bugs Bunny, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the entire classic film, Night of the Living Dead. New additions also include Led Zeppelin, Kid Rock, and Jewel. The recently released exclusive Jim Morrison file, a segment from his last American interview, was well received by the media and public alike, achieving a 60% download conversion rate of those who had specifically requested email notification.

"We've seen tremendous success in terms of user adoption of our Player since introducing it to the market," said Eliot Subin, President and CEO of ThrottleBox Media, Inc. "The advantages that our Player offers, coupled with our extensive selection of free, exclusive content from partners like Reprise, position our company at the forefront of digital entertainment distribution and e-commerce of copyrighted material."

The ThrottleBox Player and associated BOX files are the next generation of downloadable media, delivering higher quality production and playback values than other Internet-based viewers. BOX files present a unique way to deliver high-quality content that a user may keep for future, on-demand enjoyment. Viewers can download and collect a unique variety of free content, including music, videos, sports, full-length films, cartoons, and light-learning lessons covering everything from golf to women's fitness instruction. Further, the BOX files contain more information than typical files designed for playback, including images and hyperlinked text information that augment the video, music, or learning programming.

All content and the Player are available for free download at http://www.ThrottleBox.com. Over 250,000 files have been downloaded to date.
