Latitude Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: LATD), the e-conferencing company, today announced that it will provide native support for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server with its MeetingPlace e-conferencing solution. The announcement marks the latest milestone in a strategic relationship between the two companies, expanding the functionality and effectiveness of e-conferencing and supporting Latitude's vision of making real-time collaboration as universal and effortless as e-mail on every desktop. With MeetingPlace, users can easily schedule and attend meetings, share and edit documents, and record content through familiar applications such as Web browsers or groupware applications such as Microsoft Outlook.
Latitude is one of the first companies to provide native support for Microsoft Exchange 2000, a comprehensive messaging and collaboration platform that enables voice and data integration and includes all the tools necessary to create rich collaboration applications.
