Herbalife Appoints Christopher Pair as President and CEO; Conrad Lee Klein Added to Board of Directors

Herbalife International, Inc. (Nasdaq:HERBA) (Nasdaq:HERBB) today said that its board of directors has appointed Christopher Pair as president and chief executive officer.
As previously announced, Pair was named the acting president and chief executive officer of Herbalife following the death of Mark Hughes, the company's founder, president and chief executive officer. Pair has served in senior management positions since joining Herbalife in 1985, most recently as executive vice president, chief operating officer and secretary. He has been a director of Herbalife since 1990.
The company also announced the appointment of Conrad Lee Klein to its board of directors, filling the vacancy on the board left by Mark Hughes. Klein has served as outside legal counsel to both Herbalife and Mark Hughes since 1983. He joined Herbalife as executive vice president, chief business affairs officer in 1994, and continues to serve in that position.
Herbalife International, Inc. markets nutritional, weight management and personal care products in 48 countries worldwide. Herbalife products are available only through a network of independent distributors who purchase the products directly from the company.
