GARDEN CITY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 8, 2000

Proginet Corporation (VSE:PRFu.V) announced that its SecurPass(TM) password management software supports accounts that reside in Oracle(R) and SAP(R) databases, and offers bi-directional support for Novell Netware(TM).

SecurPass enables IBM mainframe, Windows NT(R) and UNIX platform users (HP-UX(R), Sun Solaris(R), IBM AIX(R)) to synchronize account passwords to proprietary security directories of Oracle(R), SAP(R), PeopleSoft(R), and other popular business applications.

Bi-directional support for Novell NetWare, the result of the joint efforts of Novell and Proginet systems engineers, allows the automatic propagation of password changes to and from Novell NetWare systems throughout enterprise computing networks. The enormous global population of NetWare users now can take full advantage of the password management capabilities delivered by SecurPass.

"SecurPass enables our customers to expand the reach of their security systems and further reduce help desk costs, a significant benefit in terms of corporate cost containment," stated Kevin Bohan, Proginet Vice President of Sales.

Proginet develops state-of-the-art software products that address the systems management software space, including enterprise managed data transfer, Internet managed data transfer and password management, for e-businesses running OS/390 from IBM (NYSE:IBM), Windows from Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) and UNIX platforms from Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ:SUNW), Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HWP) and others. Proginet's SecurPass(TM) software simplifies enterprise password management.
