BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 2000
Onyx Software Corporation (Nasdaq:ONXS), a leading provider of customer centric e-business solutions, today announced that GoIndustry.com, a pan-European online marketplace for surplus equipment, will deploy Onyx Front Office enterprise-wide.
The solution will be rolled out to its staff in the UK, Germany and France, enabling GoIndustry.com to offer a rapidly deployable solution that will integrate all customer-facing departments and act as a platform for e-commerce. Groups using Onyx will include senior management, sales, market makers and e-commerce operations center staff.
GoIndustry.com will launch its business-to-business online auction site in March 2000, and will use Onyx Front Office's advanced workflow management to ensure that every transaction is carefully managed at every stage. The e-commerce operations hub will include a call-center, which will be linked to the Website to enable rapid handling of client queries through Onyx. All critical customer information will be stored and displayed in a single digital workplace in Onyx Front Office, enabling GoIndustry.com to service its customers quickly and efficiently.
GoIndustry.com will offer customers a Web trading platform where they can interact in several languages using a variety of currencies to complete transactions. Success of such an information-rich site requires dynamic and accurate CRM solutions, and Onyx brings together Web-based CRM, knowledge management and workflow management into one solution.
"CRM solutions are a vital aspect of bringing business to the Web," said Alex Hoye, vice president of product development and co-founder of GoIndustry.com. "We chose Onyx because it offers the most forward looking solutions in terms of support of our large, multi-country sales force and e-commerce operations centre, management of complex workflows and integration of several cutting edge technology solutions."
"GoIndustry.com is redefining the way that dot.com companies are interacting with their customers," said Tania Holmes, Onyx Software's UK managing director. "By choosing Onyx, which sits at the convergence of e-commerce, traditional and online customer relationship management, GoIndustry.com is using a proven solution to share information company-wide and leverage the Internet for competitive advantage. GoIndustry.com symbolizes the way customers want to do business today."
