PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 2000
Agilent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:A) today announces 10 single- and dual-output, programmable DC power supplies that provide stable, clean and reliable DC power in 30-100W power levels, at the lowest price in the industry for power supplies with GPIB programming.
These 10 new power supplies were designed to be used for general-purpose lab design verification and manufacturing testing. In addition to offering 30-100W of output power, the models provide dual output ranges, front and rear output terminals, remote sensing, low noise, excellent regulation, adjustable overvoltage protection and standard GPIB and RS-232 programmability.
"Customers are continuing to demand greater quality and higher reliability in their power supplies -- all at a reduced cost," said Ken Lodge, products development manager for Agilent's General-purpose Measurement Unit. "In addition, there is a growing demand from the automated test industry for power supplies with more programmability. In response to customer demands and market trends, Agilent Technologies has designed these DC supplies to provide a reliable remote interface and application flexibility at a low cost."
This new line of power supplies is simple to operate, with an easy-to-read display and ergonomically designed user interface. The problem of limited benchtop space is also addressed with these power supplies, which have one-half the rack form factor.
