Precision Standard Names Vice President Business Development

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 13, 2000

Precision Standard, Inc. (NASDAQ:PCSN) today announced that Armando Sassoli has been named to the new position of Vice President Business Development, effective March 20, 2000.

Most recently, Mr. Sassoli, 46, was Vice President of Business Development for Dee Howard Aircraft Maintenance in San Antonio, Texas.

During his seven years at Dee Howard, Mr. Sassoli directed the marketing, sales, customer relations and business development activities that resulted in the company more than tripling its revenues in the commercial aircraft maintenance business.

Mr. Sassoli also has extensive experience internationally in the aviation industry, having been responsible for business development of the maintenance, repair and overhaul division of one of Europe's largest aerospace concerns, Alenia of Italy. Alenia has subsidiaries based both in the U.S. and overseas.
