Aykroyd Joins Hitplay Media's Board of Directors; Belushi to Serve as
Creative Artist and on Hitplay's Board of Advisors
The Blues Brothers are back. Hitplay Media today announced that acclaimed writer, actor, and performer Dan Aykroyd will join Hitplay Media on its Board of Directors and assist in the development of its breakthrough streaming video entertainment network.

Hitplay Media founder and CEO Todd Harris also said that film star and musician Jim Belushi will serve on Hitplay's Board of Advisors and will be a creative artist for Hitplay's online entertainment initiatives. Harris made the announcement at the Television-Internet Conference 2000 sponsored by the New York chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, where the company previewed its streaming video network and entertainment content.
"Dan Aykroyd is a modern-day renaissance man, with the kind of creative skills and business acumen that will help Hitplay become the Internet's premiere on-demand video network. I look forward to working with Dan on the Board of Directors," said Hitplay's Harris. "We're also thrilled that Jim Belushi has chosen Hitplay as a trusted online outlet for his many creative efforts. He will be a valued member of our Board of Advisors."

Belushi is an SNL alum, a popular comedian, and a busy film actor with such credits as the upcoming "Return to Me" with Minnie Driver and David Duchovny.
