AccessAtlanta.com continues to expand its audience and achieve top performance ratings. According to Media Metrix fourth quarter reports, AccessAtlanta.com is both the highest rated and highest ranked local site in the country with an average monthly reach of 22.8 percent of local Internet users for the quarter.
Additionally, in the Atlanta market, AccessAtlanta.com is the eleventh most visited site among all World Wide Web sites, beating out national portals such as Excite, Hotbot, and AltaVista. More Atlanta Internet users on average visited AccessAtlanta.com than any other local city site reported by Media Metrix In the fourth quarter of 1999.

Media Metrix tracks 38 local markets and the firm's fourth quarter numbers come from reports based on reach, which is defined as the percentage of Internet users residing in a DMA visiting a site at least once during the month.
Other local sites reported in the fourth quarter period for the Atlanta market:
-- AOL's DigitalCity.com was the 48th most visited site with a 7.2
percent reach
-- TicketMaster Online's CitySearch.com was not rated
CIMedia's internal measures of audience growth support the strength of the AccessAtlanta.com brand. In the month of January, AccessAtlanta.com reached over one million unique users, which represents an 81percent growth over the course of the 1999 calendar year.
