BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 17, 2000
Corechange, Inc. announced today that it has become a member of IBM's PartnerWorld for Developers Program, a worldwide program supporting developers who build solutions using IBM technologies. The first stage of this partnership will be the integration of Corechange's unique flagship product, Coreport(TM), with IBM's strategic Enterprise Information Portal (EIP) offering. Corechange is a global provider of EIP and Business-to-Business (B2B) portals.
"We're pleased that Corechange was able to complete full integration of Coreport with our IBM Enterprise Information Portal offering in just a matter of days," said Jim Kelly, Vice President of Marketing, IBM Data Management Solutions. "Coreport's wireless capability, role-based business content features and browser-driven environment, coupled with the IBM Enterprise Information Portal, will deliver significant benefits to our mutual e-business customers."
IBM's EIP offering enables federated searches (simultaneous searches across disparate data sources) using parametric and/or contextual search technologies that can generate aggregated results of the most relevant information. For example, information can be accessed from IBM's Content Manager, the Web, file systems (spreadsheets), e-mail, audio and video XML/HTML applications, and others.
"The integration of Coreport with IBM's EIP offering will enable customers to rapidly deploy B2B and B2M(TM) (Business-to-Mobile) applications," said Lars G. Ivarsson, Executive Vice President of Corechange. "The secure, single sign-on, role-based business content features of Coreport will provide users in a wide variety of contexts with an individually tailored, browser-based computing environment. We are excited about bringing IBM EIP and Coreport together, as the result will be best-of-class e-business application technology."
