NYFIX, Inc. Commences Trading On Nasdaq On Monday, March 6th, Under Ticker Symbol NYFX

(AMEX: NYF) NYFIX, Inc. today announced that the Company has been approved for listing on the Nasdaq Stock Market and will commence trading on Monday, March 6, 2000.

The Company's new ticker symbol will be NYFX. NYFIX is currently traded under the symbol NYF on the American Stock Exchange. Deutsche Bank, ING Barings, Knight Securities, Lehman Brothers, Inc., Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Warburg Dillon Read are expected to act as market makers in NYFIX. NYFIX will be celebrating the new listing by opening trading at the Nasdaq Market Site in Times Square on March 6, 2000.
