WaveRider Communications' Last Mile Solution Receives FCC Approval

LMS2000 Radio Units Now Certified
WaveRider Communications Inc. (OTC BB:WAVC), a global provider of fixed wireless Internet access products, has received Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approval for the radio systems in its LMS2000 fixed wireless Internet access system.
"This approval of the LMS2000 radio systems is significant for WaveRider as this product represents the first wide scale commercial offering in our Last Mile Solution(R) product family," says WaveRider's president/CEO Bruce Sinclair. "The LMS product family provides network operators, such as Local Exchange Carriers and Internet Service Providers with a cost effective, highly scalable wireless Internet network upon which they can offer Internet services for both business customers and consumers. With the LMS2000, these network operators will be able to provide high-speed wireless Internet access at speeds up to 11 Mbps."
