HP Services Appoints Stephen Huhn Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

Hewlett-Packard Company has appointed Stephen T. Huhn as vice president of marketing and business development for its worldwide services organization.
Huhn will report to Tom Ashburn, senior vice president of HP Services, and will be based in the organization's worldwide headquarters in Mountain View, Calif. In his new post, Huhn will lead the development, implementation and marketing of the company's global services strategy.
"Steve's charter is to accelerate the growth of HP Services, especially in large engagements that will help our customers move rapidly toward the e-services business models of tomorrow," said Ashburn. "We are excited to have Steve on the HP team and appreciate the experience and insight he brings to our organization."

Huhn brings 26 years of experience at IBM to his new post. During the past decade, he has been closely associated with the formation, growth and success of IBM's Global Services. Huhn was vice president of IBM Global Services' business development for six years and served two years as vice president of marketing operations. Earlier, he served as vice president, general counsel and secretary to Integrated Systems Solutions Corp. (ISSC), where he established the company's outsourcing subsidiary that became the foundation of IBM's Global Services Group.
Huhn is a graduate of Cornell University School of Law (Ithaca, N.Y.) and received his bachelor's degree from American University (Washington, D.C.).
