TeamSite Streamlines Development of Co-Branded Portals for

Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq:IWOV), the leading provider of enterprise-class Web content management software, today announced that BuyerZone.com (www.buyerzone.com), the premier online marketplace for small to mid-sized businesses, has implemented Interwoven TeamSite to streamline and accelerate BuyerZone.com's Web development efforts.

Now, BuyerZone.com is better equipped to offer customers up-to-date information, allowing them to make even more informed business purchasing decisions.
"Content management is a critical element of our Web infrastructure," said David Cancel, vice president of engineering at BuyerZone.com. "Interwoven's open architecture has allowed us to leverage our existing technology infrastructure and allows us to integrate content from suppliers and partners, quickly and efficiently."
Because BuyerZone.com is continuing to add syndicate partnerships to its existing roster of alliances, which currently includes AOL, Quicken, MSNBC, Excite, Inc. and Business Week, they needed a content architecture to manage both their in-house Web publishing process and their co-branded affiliate sites. BuyerZone.com creates a customized, co-branded version of the BuyerZone.com site for its affiliates that give their customers instant access to information and reviews on the latest technologies, office equipment, supplies and business services they need. BuyerZone.com does all the development work but configures it with an affiliate's own user interface and look and feel for their small business portals.
"BuyerZone.com is rapidly becoming the online purchasing destination for small to medium businesses, and we are proud to contribute to their success," said Joe Ruck, vice president of marketing for Interwoven. "By leveraging our content management platform, BuyerZone.com will build on that success and deliver more affiliates' products and services, ultimately creating a better purchasing experience."
Over 30 BuyerZone.com employees can now contribute directly to the site, utilizing the TeamSite solution. This number will continue to grow with the company and will eventually be extended to contributors in BuyerZone.com affiliates. TeamSite software's advanced workflow capability allows BuyerZone.com to include affiliate business managers in the content approval cycle, streamlining affiliate integration of content to their site.
