Wireless Internet ASP SensCom Inc. Names Top Executives from Metricom and Chicago Board Options Exchange to Board of Directors

SensCom Inc., an application service provider for secure wireless Internet financial services, announced today that Lee Gopadze, former senior vice president corporate planning and development for Metricom, and Charles Henry, president and chief operating officer of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), have joined SensCom's Board of Directors.
Lee Gopadze will serve as chairman of SensCom's Board of Directors. Gopadze is most recently senior vice president corporate planning and development for Metricom Inc. (Nasdaq:MCOM). Gopadze directed the company's marketing, operations and corporate planning functions, and he was instrumental in raising $1.4 billion in funding for the company. Prior to joining Metricom, Gopadze held positions including chief operating officer and executive vice president of The National Dispatch Center in San Diego, senior vice president of operations at PacTel TeleTrac, and executive positions a MetroMedia/Southwestern Bell.
Charles Henry, currently president and COO of the CBOE, has also agreed to serve on SensCom's Board of Directors. Since joining CBOE as President, Henry has overseen six-fold growth in volume and revenues, the successful transition to competitive deregulated markets, and development of the most advanced technology in the industry. Prior to joining the CBOE, Henry was president and chief executive officer of the Pacific Stock Exchange.
