DRAPER, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 23, 2000

HydroMaid International Inc. (OTC BB: HYII) Thursday announced that it will be exhibiting at the 19th Annual Kitchen and Bath Show ("KBIS") in Chicago, April 7 through April 9.

The 2000 KBIS Show will be held at the McCormick Place (South Building) in Chicago. The Show's exhibiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 9. HydroMaid's display site will be booth 5500.

HydroMaid has planned special press conferences on April 7 and 8 from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Steve Young, quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers and a member of HydroMaid's board of directors, is expected to be on hand to demonstrate the world's only totally non-electric water powered food waste disposal. The press conferences will be held in HydroMaid's booth at the show.

Following the demonstration, Steve Young will be giving away 10 autographed NFL Superbowl XXVIII footballs to winners drawn from business cards of the press members present at the conference. All members of the press are invited.

The KBIS Show is sponsored by the National Kitchen & Bath Association and Kitchen and Bath Business Magazine. This annual event, the world's largest kitchen and bath trade show, is open only to companies and individuals in this industry.

In 1999, the Show drew over 37,000 dealers, distributors, designers, wholesalers, retailers, builders and architects. Some 40,000 people are expected to attend, making it the largest Kitchen & Bath Show ever.

"We are excited to attend this year's Show," stated Culley Davis, chairman and chief executive officer of HydroMaid. "With this being the largest trade show of its kind and having received the prestigious First Place Overall Winner Award as Kitchen and Bath's 'Innovative Product of the Year' by the very sponsors of this Show, we feel that the Show will be a great success for HydroMaid.

"The wonderful press coverage we receive is a direct result of the excitement HydroMaid generates by representing a better solution in an industry that has been stagnant for years," continued Davis. "We feel that the domestic and international growth potential for HydroMaid is enormous and look forward to meeting with representatives that can be influential in spreading the good word about HydroMaid."

The KBIS Show will feature 650 kitchen and bath product manufacturers and cover 360,000 square feet with 3,600 exhibit booths. Other exhibitors include manufacturers of cabinets, bath accessories, appliances, showers, tubs, tile, flooring, lighting, kitchen accessories and appliances, countertops, decorative hardware, sinks, toilets, whirlpools and other kitchen and bath products.

To receive a free VIP pass to the KBIS Show as HydroMaid's guest, please call HydroMaid's corporate offices at 801/553-8790.
