Former NBC Internet Executive to Head Media Sales at CallWave; David Greenwald Appointed Senior Vice President Media Sales

CallWave, a leader in Internet-based telephone services, Monday announced the appointment of David Greenwald as senior vice president of media sales.

As vice president of integrated media sales for NBC Internet (Nasdaq:NBCI), Greenwald led the integrated media sales team that successfully transitioned Snap.com into the online multimedia environment.

CallWave has developed new categories of media vehicles that leverage its strong relationship with its fast-growing user base. In his new position at CallWave, Greenwald's mission is to develop and implement strategies that will drive revenues from CallWave's vast subscriber base, Internet media inventory, and marketing partnerships.

CallWave has achieved leadership in the Internet-based telephone services category by signing up more than 1,000,000 households in just four months. The company's Web site welcomed 2.5 million unique visitors in February, according to PC Data Online.
