SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 2000

DS Doctor monitors and analyzes the overall health of Novell's

Directory Services that run on large enterprise networks.

PatchLink.com Corp. Monday announced that it will release its DS Doctor in early June, which will run as a snap-in or stand alone module into its award winning, Web-based enterprise management application, WebConsole.

DS Doctor quickly and easily troubleshoots Novell's Directory Services (NDS) and monitors the overall health of all NDS(TM) partitions through a graphical representation.

DS Doctor is a multi-functional, web-based utility that will monitor NDS to ensure the health of the directory, alert the IT professional of problems and allow them to repair NDS remotely and proactively rectify them without creating any downtime within an organization.

Furthermore, DS Doctor can also be used to report on the directory and allow for troubleshooting from anyplace at anytime. WebConsole is an Internet-based management software application, which allows organizations to make extensive changes to the way enterprise systems and servers are being managed today.

WebConsole reduces the overall costs associated with network administration by generating immediate savings while providing the basis for cost avoidance. WebConsole eliminates the need for proprietary remote management infrastructure and expensive and time-consuming site visits.

Utilizing WebConsole's browser-based and directory-enabled functionality, IT departments can set and monitor security levels, manage users, generate system status reports and solve problems on Microsoft's Windows NT and Novell platforms from any single location utilizing the Internet.

"As more and more companies develop a directory service network environment, it has become increasingly important to effectively manage the directory service structure and maintain the overall health of NDS," said Sean Moshir, president and chief executive officer of PatchLink.com Corp.

PatchLink.com's products and services have recently received many industry accolades which include InfoWorld's "Best of Test Center" and PCWeek's "Analyst's Choice Award." Additionally, PatchLink.com recently won Novell's DeveloperNet Contest in the "Best Custom Internet/Intranet Services" and "Best Commercial Software Award" categories.
