Tribal Voice Appoints New CEO to Head Market Expansion for Instant Messaging Solution

Subsequent to its acquisition by CMGI, Inc. (Nasdaq: CMGI), Tribal Voice has appointed Ross Bagully as CEO. Tribal Voice is a leading provider of co-branded instant messaging and interactive communications.

Bagully is an entrepreneur with experience in start-up team creation, strategic business planning, product development, P&L management and business & product development. In his last position as President and CEO of the business-to-business Internet Web Content Management start-up Versifi, Inc., Bagully re-focused sales efforts, marketing direction, product development and delivery organization for the company.

Bagully was the founder, president and CEO of two Denver, Colorado-based start-up organizations, Nuances, a full-service special events management company, and Learning.net, an Internet learning company, co-founded with a California partner, Idealab. For Learning.net Bagully recruited the initial team, successfully led business plan development, initial product development and initial financing efforts with private investors.

From 1990 to 1996, Bagully was employed by Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC ) and worked under its Communications Industry Services operating division. While serving as the Managing Director, Asia and Vice President, Latin America, he initiated the company's entry into the global marketplace.

For most of the 1980s, Bagully held three positions for US West ; the Director of Strategic Planning at the headquarters level, VP and Division General Manager of a ($100 million) subsidiary, and President and CEO of another $100 million subsidiary. After graduating with a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School in 1973, Bagully worked for various investment banking companies, until his employment with US West in 1983.

Actively involved in community service, Bagully served on the Board of Directors of the Rocky Mountain Division for American Management Hospital and for AIM 21, a Silicon Valley information start-up.
