Garage.com Launches JumpStart 2000 — A Startup Summer Internship Program for MBA Candidates; MBA Candidates Will Gain Startup Experience At Early-stage High Tech Companies

Garage.com, an online venture capital company that helps entrepreneurs and investors create, build, and fund early-stage technology companies, today announced the launch of JumpStart 2000, a summer internship program designed to provide select first-year MBA candidates with valuable startup experience. Garage.com will place ten entrepreneurial business school students with Garage.com Portfolio companies for an intensive twelve-week summer internship program. Each student will have an opportunity to play a critical role in the development of a fast-growing high tech startup.
Garage.com Portfolio companies participating in JumpStart 2000 come from high tech industry sectors including: business-to-business e-commerce, business-to-consumer e-commerce, Internet tools and infrastructure, communications and networking, software, hardware, semiconductors, and life sciences.
