Provident Financial Holdings Completes 10% Stock Repurchase

RIVERSIDE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 2000
Provident Financial Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq:PROV), holding company for Provident Savings Bank, FSB, Wednesday announced the completion of a 10% stock repurchase program it began in August 1999.
Under this authority, the company repurchased 439,000 shares at an average price of $18.75 per share. At Dec. 31, 1999, the company had $1.2 billion in total assets and $85.7 million in stockholders' equity.
