Epson America Inc. today announced that the award-winning EPSON Stylus(R) Color 740 and EPSON Stylus(R) Color 740i are now available for $99 and $129 (estimated street price following a $50 mail-in rebate), respectively.
These moves further Epson's commitment to providing PC and Mac customers with leading technology at compelling price points.

EPSON Stylus Color 740 Features
The EPSON Stylus Color 740 uses the company's advanced Micro Piezo(TM) technology to deliver print speeds of 6 ppm black, and 5 ppm color.
This model also incorporates 1440 x 720 dpi resolution and a six-picoliter ink droplet to print richer, deeper and more detailed images, as well as laser-sharp black text, adding a professional touch to business presentations, reports and digital photographs.
The EPSON Stylus Color 740 is one of the only printers on the market to offer built-in parallel, USB and Mac Serial ports to meet the needs of PC and Macintosh users alike.

Based on the same award-winning technology of the EPSON Stylus Color 740, winner of Macworld's Eddy Award and MacAddict's Freakin Awesome Award, the EPSON Stylus Color 740i is the industry's first color ink jet printer designed to color coordinate with Apple's iMac and Power Macintosh G3 computers.
The EPSON Stylus Color 740i, comes housed in a sleek, translucent case, similar to that of Apple's iMac and Power Macintosh G3 computers, and comes standard with a blueberry cover. Additionally, consumers can outfit their printers with optional covers in grape, lime, tangerine or strawberry.
Warranty and Support
The EPSON Stylus Color 740 and EPSON Stylus Color 740i are sold through computer superstores and specialty retail stores nationwide, as well as through mail order and the Internet. Each carries a one-year Epson Exchange Limited Warranty, enabling customers to receive a replacement printer if a problem cannot be corrected by telephone technical support.
