Small- to Medium-sized Businesses Save Time and Money
with a Solution that Folds, Seals and Stamps in One Easy Step
Hewlett-Packard Company today introduced the HP LaserJet Print-to-Mail system, the printing industry's first affordable desktop mailing solution. The HP LaserJet Print-to-Mail system is a one-step solution that creates mail-ready pieces by enabling the printing, folding, sealing and stamping of business correspondence. Ideal for any small- to medium-sized business that produces bills, invoices, checks and other correspondence, HP's mailing system replaces time-intensive billing and mass-mailing processes.
The HP LaserJet Print-to-Mail system easily attaches to the rear output tray of an HP LaserJet 4000 or 4050 printer. By eliminating tedious, time-consuming manual operations, the Print-to-Mail system can significantly reduce mailing-preparation costs.
"The Print-to-Mail system highlights HP's leadership and innovation," said Manny Kostas, marketing manager for HP's LaserJet Business Printing. "There are no competitive inline mailing solutions that can match the price, speed, and ease-of-use of the HP LaserJet Print-to-Mail system."
To develop this complete solution, HP has partnered with industry leaders such as Capella Technologies, MindGate, Moore, Peachtree and Stamps.com. Combined with third-party solution components, the HP LaserJet Print-to-Mail system enables:
-- custom and personalized forms printing -- for example,
customized forms that include color logos and user-specified
formats;
-- Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) check printing --
using MICR toner cartridges and fonts to assist in creating
unique check printing solutions; and
-- specialized formatting tools -- to make integration with
customers' software easy and affordable.
HP Print-to-Mail System Components
Each HP LaserJet Print-to-Mail system includes the following:
-- Print-to-Mail hardware accessory;
-- CD-ROM with templates for Intuit, Peachtree and other
Microsoft(R) Windows(R)-compatible applications;
-- sample media kit including Moore forms; and
