This aggressive schedule was initiated on the heels of two successful Internet auctions held at the famous Hotel Drouot in Paris last week.

Building upon the success of its inaugural art auctions, Leftbid.com and the renowned French auctioneer Olivier Coutau-Begarie held a successful vintage wine sale at the Hotel Drouot in Paris on Wednesday, April 26, 2000. The live Internet broadcast permitted collectors and connoisseurs of fine wine to acquire a select number of vintage wines, champagnes, cognacs and whiskeys from such illustrious vintners as Chateau Margaux, Rothschild, D'Yquem, Krug, Taittinger, Bollinger, Dom Perignon, Remy Martin, Camus and Veuve Clicquot.

On Friday, April 28, Leftbid.com and the fine French auction house Pierre Cornette de Saint Cyr also collaborated for a sale of over 100 lots of ancient Greek and Mayan sculptures, century-old Asian arts and primitive masks and objects from Africa and other parts of the world. After a series of auction lots were made by Leftbid.com registered bidders during the Pierre Cornette de Saint Cyr sale, the auctioneer turned to the audience and proclaimed, "you are bidding against the world!"

"We are very pleased with the early success of the Leftbid.com business model," said Benjamin Trigano, the Director of Leftbid.com France. "The combination of Leftbid's stable technology platform, our commitment to service and our high quality Internet bidders has produced impressive results in Paris. As a result, several Paris auction houses have signed on to run their spring sales with us - a sure sign that May and June will be banner months for Leftbid.com."

A schedule of upcoming Leftbid.com auctions is posted at www.leftbid.com. Collectors can register to bid on the site or by calling a Leftbid.com representative.
