Prudential Relocation Unveils 2.0 Version of Relocation Center; Prudential Relocation Center Continues Momentum to Deliver State-of-the-Art Mobility Service Platform

Business Wire, May 10, 2000

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 2000

Prudential Relocation Center, the private Internet site for Prudential Relocation's corporate clients and transferees, will unveil its 2.0 version at the relocation industry's Employee Relocation Council's (ERC) conference this May in Nashville, Tenn.

This version, with enhanced functionality, is part of four launches the platform will see this year under its Rapid Application Development (RAD) design track. Prudential Relocation Center 2.0 meets the needs of clients and transferees alike online with increased real time benefits, such as personalized single sign on, a direct connection to individual policy options and access to more than 100 featured International cities, to name a few of the newer features.

"We are incredibly pleased to launch Prudential Relocation Center's 2.0 to our clients and transferees," said Jeff Travelstead, senior vice president, operations & systems, Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services. "With ongoing enhancements planned, we know that our clients and their transferring employees will have a greater experience, better tools to help make better decisions, including the recently announced Pre-decision Tools component, real time access to relocation specialists, their policies and robust destination information."

Essential intelligence ranging from regional demographics, housing and schools to health, crime, international customs and cultures is placed at the client and transferees fingertips in an organized and easy-to-navigate format. From the moment you log on, Prudential Relocation Center adapts based on your user profile to present appropriate, relevant information. State-of-the-art security measures allow password-only access so you and your employees can rest assured that private data stays that way.

Launched in late October 1999, the Prudential Relocation Center private Internet site has initiated more than 1,200 transferees in less than five months using the interactive platform. Given the soft launch of the product, heavy beta testing and integrated client input, client and customer feedback has been tremendously positive and client usage continues to increase every month.

"We have some great additions planned throughout 2000 and each new version will simply integrate with the previous one so our clients see the seamless continuation of meaningful, innovative tools," said Lon Adams, product manager for Prudential Relocation Center. "For example, Prudential Relocation is currently working with the Employee Relocation Council to integrate eRelay(TM) into Prudential Relocation Center's platform. This flexible, virtual connection offers expanded accessibility and enhanced service to all parties connected to the relocation transaction."
