Both Sarasota And Manatee Counties Select HomeSeekers.com As Their

New MLS Provider For The Next Three Years

HomeSeekers.com (NASDAQ: HMSK) announced today the signing of two significant multi-year technology agreements utilizing its heralded XMLSweb(R) product with both Sarasota and Manatee Counties, two major MLS organizations on Florida's prestigious Gulf Coast. In addition, these contracts allow HomeSeekers.com to potentially increase one of the company's primary revenue sources through sales of agent websites licensed through these MLS organizations.

"We wanted modern technology that uses the power of the Internet, and knew that HomeSeekers.com's XMLSweb(R) would bring greater capabilities and super functionality to our members," said Ann Guiberson the Executive Vice-President of the Sarasota Association. Sarasota, recently named one of the three best places to live in the country by Modern Maturity magazine, will begin installations immediately, replacing the existing Interealty MLS system it has been using for over 15 years. Benefiting approximately 3,000 real estate professionals, HomeSeekers.com's XMLSweb(R) and related products will allow agents and brokers to serve home buyers and sellers more effectively by utilizing technology to increase home sales and by simplifying the real estate transaction process.

"The capabilities and superiority of HomeSeekers.com technology solutions are being recognized in one of the most active real estate areas of the country as well as around the world and we continue to beat out competitors and win the majority of contracts up for bid. This announcement continues to show the strength of HomeSeekers.com total technology solutions and reinforces the increasing acceptance of the XMLSweb(R) technology for computer savvy real estate professionals," says HomeSeekers.com CEO Greg Costley.

"HomeSeekers.com's technology greatly benefits agents and brokers by moving the mission-critical MLS data to the Internet, thus facilitating immediate delivery of time-sensitive information, multi-media presentations, and professional CMA's to both buyers and sellers. By adding Sarasota and Manatee to our rapidly growing base of customers in Florida it is our intention to set the groundwork and foundation for a state-wide MLS system that would provide a low-cost way for real estate professionals anywhere in Florida to access MLS property data" said Ira Luntz, President of HomeSeekers.com's XMLSweb(R) business line.
