NexTone Communications' iVANi Solution Used in Airwire.net's Rollout of Converged Services; Wireless ASP to offer Customers Value-Added Applications Over the Internet

NexTone Communications, www.nextone.com, a provider of advanced networking systems that power the Virtual Central Office today announced the deployment of its iVANi solution by Airwire.net, www.airwire.net, a wireless Access Service Provider (ASP).
Targeted at small and mid-sized businesses that are looking for affordable broadband and Internet access, Airwire.net currently offers services on its high-speed wireless Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) that covers Central Florida. The wireless ASP has plans to roll out services in many more MAN's over the next 12 months.

Airwire.net has successfully integrated the iVANi system with the broadband wireless services it provides to its customers. Utilizing the iVANi iEdge 500 at the customer premise and the iVANi iServer within their network, Airwire.net is able to bundle high speed Internet access with voice applications such as PBX extension to branch offices and telecommuters and private voice networks.
