High-performance software suite and web hosting

for field service organizations

iMedeon, Inc., the premier provider of 100% web-based mobile workforce management solutions, has teamed with NaviSite, Inc. (NASDAQ: NAVI) of Andover, MA to give its clients a secure, reliable, and high-performance web hosting service for iMedeon's iM:Work software suite. This service offers customers an Application Service Provider (ASP) option for procuring iM:Work, a web-based enterprise system with connections to the wireless world. This teaming of software suite and hosting service minimizes complexity and lowers resource requirements, reducing costs for customers.

iM:Work is a configurable, scalable solution that optimizes work planning and work execution for mobile field service organizations. iMedeon brings to the market the powerful combination of the web and wireless communications while NaviSite offers high-availability application management. This robust, web-based ASP service radically changes the way businesses add mobile computing and dispatch components to support field service organizations. Industry analysts, such as Meta Group, have stated that iMedeon may have a lead of up to eighteen months over the incumbent industry players.

"The mission critical applications of customers mandate secure and reliable web hosting services," says Joe Mediate, President and CEO of iMedeon. "The combination of iMedeon's totally web-based applications with NaviSite's superb application hosting capabilities meets the growing demand for one-stop solutions."

"We are excited to be hosting the iM:Work solution to support the needs of iMedeon's customers," says Jay Seaton, vice president of marketing at NaviSite. "Innovative companies, such as iMedeon, are able to more quickly deploy new software solutions, and have those solutions perform at a higher level, when the challenges and costs of running the network, data center and other support technologies are offloaded to NaviSite."

iMedeon has signed a NaviSite managed application hosting agreement to deliver a fast, reliable, and secure environment for iM:Work users. NaviSite is iMedeon's ideal partner because of their expertise on the Oracle database, secure networks, high-speed, reliable internet connection, and the SilverStream Application server software, on which iM:Work is built.

In addition to the hosting agreement between iMedeon and NaviSite, the companies have agreed to sign an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Partner Agreement. Through this relationship, each company will promote, market, and provide referrals for each other's services.

NaviSite boasts a state-of-the-art data center infrastructure with leading edge Internet and networking services for a solid Web and application hosting foundation. Their nationwide data centers feature high quality, advanced Internet connectivity for optimized performance and 24 x 7 availability. Power back-up, redundant components, disaster protection, and physical security meet the demands of security and reliability for enhanced customer satisfaction and service, and NaviSite's advanced management services offer complete IT outsourcing.
