Katalyst, the first Full Service Accelerator(TM)(FSA) providing strategic venture capital and management services to B2B Internet start-ups, announced today that Internet and telecommunications services executive Leo J. Hindery Jr., CEO of Global Crossing Ltd. and chairman and CEO of GlobalCenter Inc., has been named to the Katalyst Board of Advisors. "In his advisory capacity, we will rely on him for intellectual guidance in our continued development of successful B2B Internet businesses."

Until November 1999, Hindery was president and CEO of AT&T Broadband & Internet Services, formed from the merger of Tele-Communications, Inc. (TCI) and AT&T Corp. Previously he served as president of TCI and its affiliated companies, where he is credited with revitalizing the business and industry. Hindery's extensive background also includes leadership positions in the cable system operations, media and investment banking arenas.
