Don Parks Named Retail Advertising Director at San Francisco Newspaper Agency

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 19, 2000
Donald J. Parks, 39, has been named Retail Advertising Director at the San Francisco Newspaper Agency. The announcement was made by Bartley C. Green, Senior Vice President/Sales and Marketing, who said, "In his new role, Don will continue to manage the Retail Department and will assume the overall responsibilities for the Ad Support, Order Entry, and Preprint Departments. This new organizational structure will help enhance our overall ad processing capabilities while improving customer relations."
Parks is very proud of the numerous sales accomplishments of his team and looks forward to working more closely with the many talented individuals in the Ad Operations Department.
He began his career at the Agency in 1986 and has held several different Sales and Sales Management positions within the Advertising Department. His other positions include Retail Advertising Manager, Suburban Sales Manager, Peninsula Sales Supervisor, and Retail Advertising Sales Representative.
Born in San Francisco, Parks attended the University of San Francisco where he majored in Business Administration. He and his wife Linda reside in Contra Costa County with their ten-year-old daughter Raquel.
The San Francisco Newspaper Agency is jointly owned by the Chronicle Publishing Company and the Hearst Corporation. It is responsible for the non-editorial activities of the San Francisco Chronicle and the San Francisco Examiner, including all printing, production, distribution, advertising and marketing functions.
