ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 22, 2000
ThinKnowledge Networks, a systems innovator based in Atlanta, announces it has joined the new Citrix iBusiness program, the program of choice for the emerging ASP market. Launched in September 1999, the Citrix iBusiness program allows members to use Citrix MetaFrame(TM)application server software, the backbone technology for the ASP market, under "pay as you go" terms.
ThinKnowledge Networks is currently building an extensive infrastructure designed to support its ASP offering, which will be announced by the end of the first quarter. "Since Citrix technology plays a major role in our existing systems innovation business, we naturally looked to Citrix when we decided to move into the ASP space," said Ernie Linzie, CEO of ThinKnowledge Networks. "Their business philosophy and technology approach is totally compatible with our own. Their technology is at the heart of our ASP model. We will work with Citrix in every way possible to best serve our clients' business and technology needs."
"As businesses strive to use information more effectively in the new millennium, the strong growth of our ASP program shows we have our fingers on the pulse of the marketplace," said Edward Iacobucci, Chairman and CTO for Citrix.
Citrix application server software enables ThinKnowledge Networks to centralize the installation, deployment and administration of applications on their servers, and deliver them with high predictability, speed and security across any network connection to users on virtually any platform or computing device. A unique advantage of this technology is the ability to deliver the full richness and interactivity of Windows, UNIX and Java applications over the Web or Virtual Private Networks in a thin, manageable manner.
ThinKnowledge Networks expect to announce the availability of its ASP products during the second quarter, 2000.
