Business and Technology Consulting Services
Viquity Corporation, the emerging leader for outsourced eBusiness infrastructure to automate production procurement, and Deloitte & Touche, one of the nation's leading professional services firms, today announced that they have formed a strategic alliance to provide electronics manufacturing and high-tech companies with next-generation Internet commerce network solutions. The companies will also conduct joint marketing of their solutions to both new and existing clients.
The alliance combines the Viquity Dynamic Commerce Network(TM) with Deloitte & Touche's business experience, technical knowledge and implementation skills to help businesses build, manage and maintain next-generation dynamic commerce networks. The result will help companies gain a more dynamic, secure and better-managed supply chain that uses the intelligence in the commerce network to the advantage of all participants.
"The next-generation trading exchange will facilitate ongoing, planned, direct procurement of production materials," said Chris M. Grejtak, Viquity chief executive officer. "This alliance with Deloitte & Touche will help companies implement Viquity's infrastructure for commerce networks, the necessary foundation for direct procurement of production materials over the Internet."
Viquity-powered commerce networks streamline the direct procurement of on-going production materials by automating transactions between trading partners. Viquity's inter-enterprise communications platform enables secure system-to-system exchange of business documents to eliminate handling errors and delays of manual procurement methods.
"We are excited to incorporate Viquity's technology as a solution for clients requiring the dynamic exchange of critical information with their partners," said Joe Anastasi, Managing Partner Northern California/Hawaii Management Solutions and Services of Deloitte & Touche. "The alliance will bring to clients streamlined communications with their trading partners, and will dramatically improve supply chain efficiencies."
Viquity and Deloitte & Touche have already targeted several electronics manufacturing and high-tech clients with the combined strengths afforded by the new business alliance.
