Iomega Ships New Zip 100MB USB Drive Starter Kit; Kit Includes Zip 100MB USB Drive, Six Zip Disks and Essential Software

Iomega Corporation (NYSE:IOM), a global leader in data management solutions, today announced it has begun shipping its new Zip(R) 100MB USB Drive Starter Kit.

This bundle of hardware and software solutions is available for an estimated street price of $149.95 (U.S.) and is the easiest way to get all the necessary tools to protect, store and back up music, pictures, files and other important information. The Zip 100MB USB Starter Kit has the capacity to record up to 10 hours of MP3 audio, capture thousands of digital images and/or back up 600MB of important files.

The Starter Kit includes an external Zip(R) 100MB USB drive, USB cable, power supply, welcome packet and six Zip 100MB disks (four multicolored and two gray) to help save important files. The kit also contains two CD-ROMs - one containing Iomegaware 2.2.1 and the other containing software applications, including Adobe ActiveShare(TM), RealJukebox(TM), Iomega Quik Sync and HTML users' manual. The USB connection offers plug and play capabilities and fast transfer rates.

The Starter Kit is available for an estimated street price of $149.95 (U.S.) and additional Zip disks can be purchased at an estimated street price of $10.00 (U.S.) each, when purchased in a 10-pack.
