Features and Services for Amazon Customers

The Coriolis Group Wednesday announced the launch of a customized ExamCram.com e-learning and certification center for Amazon.com customers.

The new site, which can be accessed through a Coriolis virtual store at http://www.amazon.com/coriolis, allows customers who are shopping for technical books to easily access critical certification and training information and services. Customers can also receive special discounts on featured study guides and other products.

Coriolis created a special version of their innovative Web destination, ExamCram.com, for Amazon, so that IT professionals could keep up with the latest study techniques and issues involved in achieving popular IT certifications.

The Web site is designed to provide practical test preparation information and resources for technical certifications. Some of the featured services include an interactive Windows 2000 MCSE resource center, certification questions of the day, study tips, feature articles, and information about training products.

"We've learned that many of the technical book buyers at Amazon are very interested in certification and IT training issues," said Keith Weiskamp, president and chief executive officer of the Coriolis Group. "Our goal in designing the site was to better service this growing audience and create a highly accessible e-learning environment that provided access to the best information and resources.

"We'll be expanding the service in the coming months to offer an array of services including certification planners, practice exams, and focused study centers."

Amazon customers who use the site will benefit by being able to learn about new certification programs and career opportunities, receive daily study questions, track certification programs and exams, receive the latest "in the trenches" study tips, and more.

"We're excited to be working so closely with Amazon on a project like this," stated Tom Mayer, manager of e-tailing for ExamCram.com. "We've especially designed the Amazon version of ExamCram.com to attract a wide range of IT customers and provide services to keep them coming back to the site.

"Our overriding goal is to provide technical book customers with additional e-learning services to help them make better buying decisions."

The site, which can also be directly accessed by visiting www.examcram.com/amazon, will continue to be available through October 2000.
