Advanced Development and Testing Solutions for
Software and Web Development Featured
ParaSoft, leading provider of software error prevention and error detection solutions, announced they will exhibit at JavaOne from June 6-9, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. ParaSoft will feature Jtest and WebKing 2.0, two of their development solutions for software and Web development.
Java development is growing at a fast pace. According to market resource agency International Data Corporation (IDC) the number of Java developers will be almost 4 million by 2003.
Because of this rapid growth, developers need sophisticated testing tools like Jtest, an automatic Java unit testing tool designed to streamline the error prevention process for developers and managers. Jtest automatically performs white-box testing, black-box testing, regression testing, and static analysis at the class level to help developers prevent and detect errors early in the development cycle.
Java development is the backbone of many dynamic Web applications. Because of this, Java developers also need sophisticated Web development and testing solutions like ParaSoft's newly released WebKing 2.0. WebKing uses traditional development and testing techniques for Web applications. WebKing performs white-box testing to test a site's construction and black-box testing to check a site's functionality. WebKing also uses ParaSoft's unique Web-box testing technology to automate the development cycle that involves modifying, compiling, deploying, and testing programming scripts.
Availability
Jtest runs on Windows 98/NT and Sun Solaris, and starts at $3,495. WebKing 2.0 runs on Linux, Sun Solaris, and Windows 95/98/2000/NT, and starts at $3,495.
