ADC (Nasdaq: ADCT; www.adc.com) today announced that research by telecom industry management consultancy Chorleywood Consulting (www.chorleywood.com) ranked ADC first among 13 billing system providers from around the world. Chorleywood has been interviewing telcos for the past five years as part of its Global Target Locator study to determine their level of satisfaction with their billing system and with their supplier. After polling 600 telcos, including those that had implemented in-house systems, Chorleywood determined that ADC was the only vendor that scored better in terms of customer satisfaction than in-house implementations. ADC scored highest because "its customers interviewed were satisfied".
"Time-to-market with sophisticated functionality is critical to today's integrated communications provider. We've emphasized their importance within our design and implementation methodologies for a long time," said Larry Barker, president of ADC's Software Systems Division.
ADC's new suite of products and services, Singularit.e, is designed to allow integrated communications providers (ICPs) to build open operational support systems (OSSs) to compete more effectively in the broadband era. Singularit.e automates key OSS processes by combining real-time convergent billing, advanced customer management and service assurance technology with integration services from leading consulting companies.
