ADVISORY...for Wednesday (5/31)

--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)

J&R Music World, a leading music and consumer electronics mega retailer, is giving New Yorkers just one more reason to flock into their stores. Smooth Jazz giants Rick Braun and Boney James join J&R for a special in-store performance and autograph signing on Wednesday May 31st at the J&R Jazz Outlet at 23 Park Row in New York City.

James and Braun begin their show at 12:30PM. Their new album, "Shake it Up," to be released next Tuesday, is already getting rave reviews throughout the music industry. Prominently featured in this original album is the last jazz/pop crossover of the 1960's - Hugh Masakela's 1968 hit "Grazin in the Grass." This new record delivers " a very danceable and soulful day or even evening full of music that you're bound to enjoy," comments J&R Jazz Editor, Jack Twomey.

J&R Music World is famous for hosting some of the greatest jam-packed in store celebrity performances in New York City. Bringing jazz fans closer to their favorite performers is something J&R Music World has done for years. Past in-store performers include Marc Cary, Chic Corea, Jimmy Bosch, and Kenny G. In addition, J&R Music World holds its most anticipated, and celebrity-filled JazzFest every summer.
