BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 31, 2000
International Internet, Inc. (OTC:IINN), announced today that its majority owned subsidiary The Broadcastweb Network Inc. (www.thebroadcastweb.com), has started broadcasting in "live" mode 24 hours a day using Microsoft's Windows Media Player(tm) on all of their genre specific web sites.
Previously shows in Windows Media were only available in archived format, with live streams provided in Real Player.
"The expansion of our facilities has allowed us to make this long-sought switch. Statistics show that listeners on the net want fresh content as often as they can find it. Our live original content is one of the features that will allow us to begin separating ourselves from our competitors," said Ed St. James, CEO of The Broadcastweb Network. The Broadcastweb Network has stations at www.soulmanmusic.com, www.jazzmanmusic.com, and www.bluesboymusic.com currently online with www.SoftHits.com, www.ClassicRockers.com and www.TodaysNewCountry.com launching shortly, competing with on-line media outlets such as NetRadio, a subsidiary of Navarre Corp., MP3.com and Tunes.com.
