Agreement Furthers Satyam Infoway's Commitment To The Growth Of The Internet In India And Highlights Critical Path's Global Expansion
Critical Path, Inc. (Nasdaq: CPTH), the dominant global provider of business-to-business Internet messaging and collaboration solutions, today announced a multi-year agreement with India's Satyam Infoway, Ltd. (Nasdaq:SIFY). Satyam Infoway, the second largest national provider of Internet access and Internet services to consumers and businesses in India will now provide Critical Path's advanced Internet messaging and collaboration solutions to its customers.
Under the terms of the agreement, Critical Path will provide Satyam's customers with Web-based and POP3 email through two new Satyam consumer Internet service initiatives: the Satyam Web portal, SatyamOnline.com, and India's first and largest private ISP, SatyamOnline. This powerful alliance marks a significant inroad for Critical Path into the fast developing Internet market in India and gives Satyam's customers access to the most secure, scalable and advanced Internet messaging solutions available.
