Expanded Integration Delivers Comprehensive SLA Reporting with Low-Administration for World-Class Management of Networks and Services

Concord Communications(R), Inc. (NASDAQ:CCRD), the market leader in next-generation management solutions that ensure effective e-business, today announced an expanded integration relationship with Cisco Systems. As part of the relationship, Concord's eHealth performance and availability management solution will be able to extract performance data directly from the CiscoWorks2000 Service Management Solution.

CiscoWorks2000 Service Management Solution offers a standards-based interface for end-to-end service level management. eHealth, Concord's flagship solution for comprehensive management of the e-business delivery chain, including applications, systems and networks, will integrate into the CiscoWorks2000 Service Management Solution via XML technology. The integration delivers a seamless management solution for Service Level Agreements (SLAs), network latency and network services, including HTTP response times and Voice-Over-IP, with minimized administrative burden on the network. The integration also ensures that eHealth leverages the data collected by the CiscoWorks2000 Service Management Solution for in-depth analysis and eliminates the need for additional configuration or polling effort by eHealth.

"Concord's market leading solutions enable customers to effectively manage the performance of their networks and services," said Amrit Patel, enterprise management product manager at Cisco. "With this expanded integration, end users will have greater and easier access to CiscoWorks2000 service management data through eHealth."

Concord's long-standing relationship with Cisco spans product development and marketing programs, from the New World Ecosystem to Cisco Management Connection. This alliance has resulted in best-in-class performance management solutions for Cisco's New World operations, as well as several tightly integrated, value-add solutions for Cisco WAN Manager, NetFlow FlowCollector, VPN Solutions Center and Cisco IOS(R) software-based Service Assurance Agent. This latest development builds on that history by giving end users the means to mine greater value from the data collected by CiscoWorks2000 Service Management Solution by easily and seamlessly pulling it into eHealth for in-depth analysis.

"This agreement is a natural extension of our past integration efforts with Cisco," said Jack Blaeser, president and CEO of Concord. "Our technology is very complementary to Cisco's, as our successful past integration efforts have demonstrated. We're excited that our solutions continue to grow with Cisco's to provide exceptional value to customers."

Development of a version of eHealth integrated with CiscoWorks2000 Service Management Solution will be completed by the end of the year.
